Description
The MSR165 vibration and shock data logger is equipped with a high resolution 3-axis accelerometer (±15g or ±200g) and can take up to 1,600 measurements per second in each of the 3 axes. Together with the large internal memory, sufficient to store over 2,000,000 measurements, makes it ideal for transportation monitoring, fault diagnoses and load tests applications. The optional microSD card expansion increases the capacity to over 1 billion measurements. Additional internal and external sensors (temperature, humidity, pressure, and light) can be added along with a 4-analogue input module for connecting third-party sensors. The small housing is made from anodized aluminium and is IP67 waterproof. Using the free PC software, the MSR165 can be set-up to start recording after a defined threshold value has be reached, thus saving memory space, however for enhanced analysis of the shock event 32 measurement values before and 100 measurements after the event are also recorded. Data is easily download to a PC via the USB for analysis. Specifically, for transport monitoring the MSR ShockViewer is available which allows extensive analysis and graphical representation of the recorded data in addition to automatically generating an overview report.
