A specialist start-up company founded by industry veteran John Kain, we provide expertise and technical support to customers seeking data monitoring/logging and LED lighting solutions. Every customer, from a university student wanting a single purchase and help with their research project, to a multinational company requiring a custom large quantity solution is important to us and treated equally. We believe by partnering with just two companies – MSR (data loggers) and Prolight (LED solutions) – we can focus our energy and provide an unrivalled bespoke service which is uniquely flexible to the needs of our clients.

The Founder

With over 30 years’ experience in sales, marketing and management roles in established and start-up manufacturers, representative agents and distributors, John boasts a broad range of industry-specific expertise.

Coming from an engineering background, he has developed expert product knowledge in semiconductors, passive components, sensors, and instrumentation.

John’s recent, growing interest in data-logging and in the burgeoning LED market, is at the core of the formation of JK Technology and its partnership with MSR and Prolight, building on long-term positive relations with these partners.
