Description
The MSR175 stand-alone data logger uses high-resolution sensors to continuously monitor what happens to goods during transportation. The recorded data can then be analysed to identify the conditions when damage to the goods occurred or considering improvements to the packaging.
At the heart of the MSR175 are two 3-axis acceleration sensors (±15g & ±200g) which can record shocks at a measurement frequency of up to 6400/sec. The built-in memory is cable of storing over 2 million measured values which is sufficient for more than 1000 shocks. A LiPo (230 mAh) battery, charged via the USB connection, provides the power for up to 4 months. The standard MSR175 (MSR175B16T2AA5) also includes a temperature sensor while a second variant (MSR175B16T6H3P5AA5L2) includes temperature, humidity, pressure and light sensors. Long-Life battery variants are now available, made possible with replaceable Li-SOCl2 battery, extending operation life to over 2 years.
The MSR175 software package includes, MSR Dashboard for configuring logger and reading data via USB; MSR ReportGeneration for summary report, MSR ShockViewer detailed analysis of shock events and profiles the environmental data.
